Stonehenge is our past and also our present but its future is in danger of becoming a museum piece, It was built in stone to last to be used into the future, it was an ongoing construction with evidence of structures there 10,000 years ago, the stones were erected in various phases over 1,000 years its unlikely that its reason for being built in later phases strictly followed its original use, we don't know but we should be able to have reasonable use of it now as a focus for celebration a living magic of the past, here in the now.
The future is now.
Lets make it happen, either freedom matters or it is lost.
This is the Britain we have become, protected for our own good, we are not deemed responible to even gather nearby on Salsibury Plains once a year to celebrate the solsitice.
We may not know what the last people used the stones for when it fell into dissuse, but they probably didnt know its original reason for it being built. We can make a fairly good assumption it was a gathering point to celebrate something.
Who knows what stonehenge is for or was built for, it should be enough that we Britons who wish to use it as a gathering point for a free festival should be given all help to do so.
